Crash Course 1: Introduction to motorcycle helmets: why it is important to wear a motorcycle helmet, how a helmet protects your head, and how to design a campaign to increase helmet wearing. AIP Foundation, Vietnam, will share their work and provide guidance on how to address motorcycle helmet wearing at a national level (length 32 min). Crash Course 2: Introduction to drunk driving as a risk factor. Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), US, will talk about what drunk driving is and how to prevent it. You will learn what BAC levels mean and how they are interpreted in different countries (length 34 min). The course can be found of the left side of this page or HERE, fact sheet HERE, and provide feedback HERE.

Crash Course 3: Introduction to speeding as a risk factor. What is speeding and how does lowering the speed help prevent crashes? Where and why is reducing speeding important? And what can be done? Learn from a highly effective program done by Safe Kids, China (length 27 min). Will be released Tuesday 8 November, and sent directly to those who have signed up.

Crash Course 4: Introduction to seatbelts. Partnership for Road Safety in Georgia increased seatbelt use from 1% to 98% through a targeted campaign and in partnership with multiple stakeholders. Learn how seat belts protect you, what myths need to be addressed, and the approach that led to their success (length 21 min). Will be released Tuesday 15 November 2016, and sent directly to those who have signed up.

Crash Course 5: Introduction to child restraints. Child seat belt use and car restraints are often a neglected area, but in this webinar from Safe Kids Worldwide, you will learn why car seats work and strategies for increasing their use (length 33 Min). Will be released Tuesday 22  November 2016, and sent directly to those who have signed up.

Crash Course 6: Introduction to drowsy driving as a risk factor. Akilla, our member in New Zealand, has built effective programs on drowsy driving. They address myths and other risk factors and, in this webinar, they will explain the importance of drowsy driving interventions and what works (length 24 min). Will be released Tuesday 29 November 2016, and sent directly to those who have signed up.

Crash Course 7: Introduction to distraction as a risk factor. With the use of smartphones, distraction is becoming an increasingly big risk factor. In this webinar, we will cover why and how to address it. Inputs TBC. Will be released Tuesday 6 December 2016, and sent directly to those who have signed up.
